GOSHEN TOWNSHEN, — A man died after a single-vehicle accident in Tuscarawas County over the weekend, the Ohio Highway Patrol reported.The man was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck on Interstate 39 in Goshen Township around 5:30 p.m. Saturday when he left the road and struck a utility pole and several parked vehicles.
Police arrived at the scene to provide assistance and identified the man as 58-year-old William Oler from Ballston. Police said Oler first arrived at Cleveland Clinic United Hospital and was then taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital for treatment.
He was pronounced dead on Sunday. The cause of the accident is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
